The National University holds a scientific workshop on (biological forensic evidence) Out of our belief at the National University of Science and Technology in preparing and preparing graduates with high scientific competence in the fields of crime investigation, criminal investigations, fingerprinting, and how to collect, deal with, and analyze evidence that contributes to diagnosing the perpetrators according to scientific foundations, and under the patronage of the respected President of the University, Professor Dr. (Abdul Razzaq Laibi), And under the directives of the distinguished Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Al-Asadi, the Continuing Education Center and the Forensic Evidence Techniques Department at the university, in cooperation with the Dhi Qar Police Command/Forensic Evidence Department, held an awareness workshop for students of the Forensic Evidence Department at the university entitled (Forensic Evidence and its Role in... Revealing the facts) delivered by forensic expert Colonel (Ali Jabbar Hasab). The workshop addressed many topics, the most important of which is how the student can learn about the cells and tissues that make up the human body and enable the student to use modern technologies represented by medical and laboratory equipment necessary in the field of forensic evidence detection.

The respected Colonel touched on developing the capabilities of technical and administrative competencies in forensic laboratories to keep pace with developments and technologies and work to benefit from various scientific and practical experiences. And how to acquire crime scene skills related to the criminal effects of accidents and how to record them. It was also recommended in one of the topics that the student of the Forensic Evidence Department be familiar with information related to explosive materials, their types, and the methods used to extinguish fires. The workshop concluded with a recommendation to encourage students to work hard and excel in their field of specialization to be future work partners with state institutions, especially the Ministry of Interior, Health, and the Forensic Medicine Departments. The workshop was held in the large conference hall in the presence of a large crowd of students and university guests from the Dhi Qar Command Police and the Forensic Evidence Department in the governorate.
